APPRECIATION POST! I had tried Mustafa and Shaheen before, wanted to try someone different with a lot different menu. I decided to visit Apna Kitchen and talked to Shahbaz Ghouri himself. He was courteous enough to try me all his different dishes. He also gave me a tour of his kitchen. Blown away by his food and hospitality, I decided to go with him. I ordered food for 30 people, and finalized a customized menu with him. He delivered the food himself, fresh and hot! Now coming to the items, Biryani, Haleem, Angara Chicken, Behari Kabab, Chicken seekh kabab and his signature chutney. Mindblowing food! Everyone at the picnic loved it and even asked us to pack the leftover with them! Thank you Shahbaz Bhai.

I had personally met Chef Shahbaz to place catering order for my event. This was recommended by family members. I have chosen platinum menu- items were Chicken Biryani- Bagara Baingan-Tandoori Chicken Tikka (with bone)- Haleem- dessert was Shahi Tukray. 1-Chicken Biryan– amazing taste plenty of these masala pockets in every bit and it was so good and delish and chicken was beautiful cooked and was not just boil and “add in bryanii” it has its own flavor. Over all 10/10 2-Bagara Baingan– I had 4 options to choose from 1 vegetable item. I choose Bagara Baingan I personally love Baingan n it can be risky with crowd to choose which vegetable item should to choose but this dish was so tasty it’s that thick masala with spicy and tangy flavor was so successful 80 perfect of this dish was finished. Guest requested to take out as well. 10/10 3-Tandoori Chicken Tikka (with bone– it was SO JUICY and I love how the limes and onions were cooked/ with the tikka. Masala was so different again had 4-5 prices left at the end of party. 10/10 4-HALEEM- this dish was star of the party- it was well blended with perfect flavour and spices and yes entire tray was finished and few get to take home - haleem from restaurant I find it is very hard to some chef how to make it. U often find it like dal like consistency or runny, this Haleem was dense and perfect ratio of mix dal and meat.. it is term you call “Reesha wali haleem” every bite was satisfying. 10/10

We ordered food for a party from here. Chef Shahbaz was very friendly, courteous and professional. He also helped us with suggestions for what and how much to order. The food was very tasty and everyone at the party loved the food. They also have a great take-out counter with a lot of variety. Will definitely be ordering food from here again.
